The annual Old Settlers Day Aug. 9 in Farnhamville offers entertainment for the entire family.
The day starts at 8 am with a fun run/walk and a slow pitch softball tournament. The parade will step off at 10:30 am, followed by lunch in the park from 11 am to 1 pm and a car show.
Kids’ games, including water games hosted by the fire department, will start at 1 pm, and magician Jonathan May will entertain all ages at 2 pm.
When the car show is finished, at about 2:30 pm, a horse shoe competition will start.
Bingo will be played from 3 to 4 pm, followed by an old-fashioned cake walk at 4. All are invited to a free ice cream social at 4:30, and the drawing on a 50/50 raffle will take place at 5 pm.
The day will end with Beaver Creek Trio performing at Tony’s Steakhouse starting at 9 pm.
